Ian McLelland President & CEO, DTCC Derivatives Repository Ltd
Ian McLelland is President and CEO of DTCC Derivatives Repository Ltd. (DDRL), which operates the DTCC European Trade Repository. Prior to taking up this position McLelland was the Global Head of Product Development for DTCC Deriv/SERV.Before joining DTCC in September 2010, McLelland was an Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase where he was responsible for developing and implementing a multi-year strategic business process and technical architecture for the global Investment Bank Finance division.
Prior to his IB Finance role McLelland was a senior technology manager overseeing the implementation of strategic front office risk management infrastructures for credit and interest rate derivatives trading desks at JP Morgan and UBS. Ian began his career as a technology analyst with Goldman Sachs. 
Ian has lived and worked in London, New York and Tokyo and brings to his current role over 20 years of experience in financial derivatives, risk management, regulatory reporting and the management of large scale, complex enterprise infrastructure projects.
McLelland holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Glasgow University and a Master’s degree in Theoretical Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh. Ian McLelland President & CEO, DTCC Derivatives Repository Ltd
