Giorgio Biscardini is a Lead Partner in the Energy, Chemicals and Utilities practice and leads the Italian energy team. 

Mr. Biscardini has extensive experience in leading projects across the Oil, Gas and Utilities sector, having directed projects for energy companies and governments in Europe (Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Russia, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Turkey), in the Middle East and North Africa (Qatar, UAE, Libya, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Iraq, Iran), in the US and in Latin America. 

In particular Mr. Biscardini has a vast experience in the global gas markets, including: price reviews and arbitrations (having worked for multiple buyers and sellers of both LNG and pipeline gas); studies on gas infrastructures, for the EU DG Energy and for Gas Transmission System Operators; transactions on gas infrastructures; gas/power market assessments and strategies. 

In addition Mr. Biscardini has a vast experience in large capital projects, including one of the largest oil projects in the last decade; gas-fired and coal-fired power plants; and petrochemical plants. 

Mr. Biscardini holds an Honours degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, Milan.
